My name is Violet N Brown, I am the Author & Illustrator of the children’s story and colouring book “Pigs Really CAN Fly ...and so can Penguins”. I study positive psychology and I am a professional Artist (painter, photographer, videographer, writer) with a background in Business Marketing. I live on the West Coast of Canada where I have been volunteering and supporting the arts community for many years. Im a survivor of a house fire and a Chronic Pain Warrior who has personally had to fight the odds on many occasions to rebuild my life and rise from the ashes quite literally.  The empowering metaphors in this book have saved me and given me a hopeful light in the dark, encouraging me to never give up. It has gotten me to where I am today and helped me find my happy confidence in a chaotic world of doubts as I work to heal myself while inspiring others to do the same. 

 

Like Pigletta I too have a dream, which is to spread as much positivity and hope into the world as I can - one flying pig at a time.
